I have been a fan of Neeru ji as a person for years. I find her immensely kind and humble. Only recently, I understood how fabulous a teacher she is and how deep her knowledge and despite being so knowledgeable she is very grounded. I attend classes with her daughter Sakshi these days and it's the highlight of my week. She is a superb teacher. I can feel myself getting stronger the more I attend classes and more I practice with sincerity. I find the classes very affordable and value for money , because you get much more than you pay for. I don't find Iyengar Yoga is for someone who wants to attend casually, because you get benefit proportionate to how much effort you put in. I love the chance to learn, I wish I had a better way to explain how excellent the classes are and what fabulous teachers the mother-daughter duo are. Recently in class we did a Backbends class and I found it helped my chronic childhood asthma so much. Enough said. I have been to many teachers and institutes and I am a teacher from Sivananda School myself and I highly recommend this class to anyone who is interested in their health and wellbeing. It will not only help you with your ailment or sickness but it will give you a sense of community and purpose. Hi, I have been doing iyengar yoga with Neeru Maam for the past six years. It has transformed me completely. She is the best teacher one could ever ask for. I am going through a tough menopause for the past one year and how she has helped me sail through it with so much ease, I can’t express in words. One thing I absolutely resonate with is when she says that the body pains will be there if you don’t do any yoga and they will be there when you do yoga, ( under proper supervision), but you will have a choice which pain you want to chose, one without doing anything or the one with doing it all. So we chose one with doing yoga. The way she explains each and every pose is commendable. She scolds, she cares, but above all she loves us and makes sure that we learn the poses the right way. She is a hard task master full of compassion and sensitivity towards her students. I just love her to eternity.
